(for reference, this is what COGNOSPHERE, likewise established in Singapore's function is for miHoYo) ![]() the fact that it seemed, from the trailer, a copy of a very successful indie game that had insane word of mouth over its building mechanics (valheim) juxtaposed with a copy of what may be currently the most successful gacha of all time (Genshin Impact) has my curiosity piqued from an industry back-end standpoint- is this game actually going to take off? is it a proverbial cash-grab? can it actually deliver on its premise? who knows!Ī cursory google search reveals that this is a Seasun Games endeavour, a pretty established Chinese company that also recently started operations in Singapore, presumably to handle international business. Had a good laugh, moved on then it started getting mentioned again in online circles (at least, the local ones which are predominantly f2p games) and i realized that it'd both been in betas and was coming out soon (being yesterday). (this is not even touching on the very BOTW music in the trailer, lol) ![]()
